Founded in 2021, Agri-Land Advisors is an agricultural appraisal and consulting firm specializing in farms, ranches, rural real estate, water rights, conservation easements, agricultural facilities, machinery, equipment, livestock, and other agricultural assets throughout New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona.
Our practice is built around a deep understanding of agriculture, rural property, and the markets that influence value. We work with landowners, lenders, attorneys, CPAs, estates, government agencies, conservation organizations, and investors who require credible, well-supported appraisal services for complex agricultural properties and assets.

Professional Qualifications
Agri-Land Advisors is led by Colin S. McVaugh, ARA, a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and Accredited Rural Appraiser with extensive experience in agricultural real estate valuation, agricultural lending, and collateral risk management.
Colin earned the Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) in 2010. He holds Certified General Real Estate Appraiser credentials in New Mexico, West Texas, and Arizona and has completed specialized education in federal land acquisition appraisal requirements, commonly referred to as Yellow Book appraisal standards.
Prior to founding Agri-Land Advisors in 2021, Colin spent more than 16 years with the Farm Credit System, serving in positions that included Staff Appraiser, Chief Appraiser, and Director of Collateral Risk. This experience provides a strong foundation in agricultural property valuation, lending requirements, appraisal review, and complex agricultural real estate transactions.
Colin holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Agricultural Business and Economics from New Mexico State University. His professional background combines agricultural economics, rural property valuation, financial analysis, and practical experience with agricultural real estate markets throughout the Southwest.
